When and how did your business get started?

Mitchell's was established in 1931 in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago and moved to Homewood in the 1970s. It used high quality ingredients purchased locally and continues this tradition today. The shop in Homewood continues to make ice cream and hand made chocolates on location today.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
