When/where? 10:30 a.m. at

Join fellow golf enthusiasts for an exciting opportunity to play with the pros! This premier event begins with a luncheon and wraps up with an elegant post-round dinner and program featuring great raffle prizes and a live auction. Pro-Am is hosted by the Flossmoor Country Club.

When/where? 4 p.m. at Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center

Drop in Wednesday nights and challenge yourself to the 36’ Climbing Tower, Crate Stacking and Slack-Lining. These exciting full-body exercises really test your core and are adaptable for all skill and fitness levels.

The H-F Community Band will be performing at this week's concert.

Stroll through any of Bensidoun’s French Markets, and you’re guaranteed to experience the finest in local produce, delicacies from well-known area restaurants, freshly baked breads and pastries from artisan bakeries, and seasonal spreads from Chicagoland orchards. 

When/where? 7 p.m. at

The Chicago Jazz Posse featuring Chris Ussery & Eugene Vineyard are hosting a Friday night jam at 7 p.m. The Good Life Cafe features home cookin' at comfortable prices. Come for the food, stay for the music. 

Saturday, August 4

When/where? 8 a.m. at

Stock up on reading, listening and viewing material at book sales scheduled in the mezzanine of the Homewood Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, and every Saturday thereafter through the end of the year.  New items will be added each week.
