A NEW, PROFESSIONAL, SOUTH SUBURBAN THEATER COMPANY

ARTISTS WALK THEATER   After the closing of the only profession theater company in the South suburbs, a group has organized, been granted official nonprofit status, and has 501 (c) (3) status for tax exemption.  We are a new, professional theater company which will produce in the vacant theater space in Park Forest.  We don't want to see professional theater disappear from our area.

Officials from the Village of Park Forest are very enthusiastic about having a new company, Artists Walk Theatre NFP, occupy the space, and they are eager to do everything possible to promote this new venture.

The Board for Artists Walk Theatre is committed to having the first play completey capitalized before going into production.  We are planning ten performances for two weekends of a Pulitzer Prize/Tony Award-winning play by a very well-known playwright.

Please help!  We need sponsors, donations and/or advertising to help pay for royalties, fees, salaries, start-up costs, production costs and operating expenses close to $50,000.

If for any reson the inaugural production is canceled, all advertising orders will be refunded in full.  All donations will be refunded, minus the costs of royalties, filing fees and minimal operational expenses.
