How Do You Honor the Veterans in Your Life?

Memorial Day recognizes veterans that have given everything in service to their country over the years. Patch wants to know how readers honor those men and women by sharing your stories and photos.

In the past decade, it has become a tradition in the south suburbs and across the country to honor servicemen and women with a homecoming celebration when they return from a tour of duty.

However, not all veterans have been lucky to return home to receive that kind of welcome.

On Memorial Day, the country observes the sacrifices veterans have made over the years. Patch wants to know how readers honor those sacrifices on this holiday, especially from those military men and women who are related by blood or friendship. This also is a chance to recognize their invaluable service to the country.
