Lego Club, Chocolate Fest and Boy's Basketball at H-F High School: The Week in Review

It's been a crazy week of basketball, chocolate and stolen car parts in H-F. Here's a look back on our five best articles in the past week.

  1. Families gathered at the on Thursday for the monthly meeting of H-F's Lego Club. One of the library's most popular programs, the Lego club draws between 35 and 70 people each month. Welcoming both boys and girls and kids of all ages, the Lego Club is a great free event for families looking to come together and create.   2. Chicago Heights Patch reported on a that occurred Friday afternoon over the dispute regarding the alleged theft of a television. Patch was first on the scene to report this tragic event. According to Patch reporters Chris Paicely and Renita Young, authorities were initially concerned that the shooting on the 800 block of Sangamon Street was a hostage situation.   3. The boy's basketball team at completed a perfect conference season after they defeated Lincoln Way Central 56-43.   4. The was packed last Saturday with vendors, competitors and chocolate-lovers for , as reported by Lilly Melin. From chocolate popcorn to double chocolate ice cream, there was something for every kind of chocolate enthusiast at the event. Chocolate Fest also held a bake-off contest at the event, with the Mississippi Mud Brownies of Girl Scout Troop 632 taking first place.
