Comedy Event for Women

Laughter is Medicine for Winter Blues

Local author and stand-up comedienne, Tracy DeGraaf is on a mission to help women struggling with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and other emotional issues as she brings her one-woman comedy show to life for the 2014 Winter Season. DeGraaf will perform her show "Life Happens Laugh Anyway," at Southbridge Church, 15500 S. 73rd Ave. in Orland Park on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This will be the first in a trilogy of shows with additional dates in February and March. “I take the audience through the seasons of a woman’s life from getting married and having children to gaining weight and growing a beard,” DeGraaf said. "And then, they meet Jesus." she added. Seating is limited. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, and $10 each for groups of 10 or more.
