Discovering the Past, Block-by-Block: Using Chicago Ancestors.org

ChicagoAncestors.org is a "must use" source for anyone doing Chicago research.  This exciting Newberry website allows users to search the city geographically, by address or intersection, to find information about the people, places, and events near by.  Are you researching the history of a neighborhood?  Looking for the church where you great-grandparents got married?  Interested in mapping the places where your ancestors lived?  Learn how to discover the past by address!  Presented by Ginger Frere, reference librarian in the Genealogy and Local History Section of the Newberry Library in Chicago, for the South Suburban Genealogical & Historical Society.
