Teens from around the area are welcome to get together at Mama & Me Pizzeria, 18219 Dixie in Homewood, on Oct. 12 for a day of teen art, face painting, the Teens with Talent music competition, literary arts, games with prizes for kids and older, and it will all culminate into TALK's first Battle of the Bands competition—indoors at Mama's at 6 p.m. Homewood's World of Enrichment will be present and Mama & Me's will donate a portion of their profits to Homewood's Theater Arts and Leadership Kouncil (TALK). The whole event is organized and worked by the young local members of TALK.
