Driving the Dixie Car Show
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Driving the Dixie at a one-hour car show starting at 10 a.m. in the St. Paul Community Church parking lot. This will be held in conjunction with the Art and Garden Street Fair.
The Dixie Highway is a historic route in the United States, and, in Illinois, several groups come together every year to cruise the Dixie from Blue Island to Momence.
The event started in Homewood with the Homewood Heritage Committee and continues a decade later with a huge following, featuring classics from Model A Fords to anything from the present.
