The Annual Meeting of the H-F Area LWV takes place on Wednesday, May 18, at Ravisloe Country Club, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. This event is always fun, full of friendly conversation and the business of the League. Robin Kelly, Chief Administrative Officer for Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, will be our guest speaker. We look forward to hearing "the inside story" about Cook County government. The business will include adopting a budget, electing officers for 2011-12, and discussing our League's issue positions. Reservations and money for dinner ($35) is due no later than May 10, 2011.
