SSFS Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil

South Suburban Family Shelter will host its annual candlelight vigil on Monday Oct. 3 in honor of the victims of domestic violence and their families. The vigil is meant to bring awareness to the community about the prevalence of domestic violence, and to let people know that there are free support services available for victims and their family.

Observers will meet at 6 p.m. at the band shell in and the ceremony will last one hour.
