Third Annual Spring Walk of Hope and Fun Run

MOKENA, IL—Join your family, friends and community in The Cancer Support Center’s 3rd annual Spring Walk of Hope and 5K Fun Run on Sunday, May 22nd at Mokena Community Park Distract, 10925 La Porte Road. The Kick-off ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. Registration fee for 18- year-olds and up is $20, Child ages 5-17 is $10 and under 4-years-old are free.  All money goes to benefit local, free programs for people living with and affective by cancer.

The Spring Walk is a community event that brings together family, friends, neighbors and co-workers who walk to raise money and awareness to support free, professionally designed programs for individuals, families and caregivers affected by cancer.  Come out and enjoy a great day with friends and family.

The Center asks you to start building your team!  The pledge goal per walker is $100.  Please register online at www.cancersupportcenter.org and click the Spring Walk Icon. Call the event hotline at 708.365.1201 for more information.

The Cancer Support Center provides support programs and services to help people improve their quality of life during the cancer experience.  Last year, The Center provided more than 11,000 hours of service to those experiencing cancer from more than 70 communities in the Southland area.
