H-F Park Pride Day is Approaching

The H-F Park District is hoping you will come out on May 4 and help get our local parks in tip-top shape for summer.

May is almost here, and that means it’s time to mark your calendars for the H-F Park District’s annual Park Pride Day.

Hundreds of residents will gather at their preferred parks throughout town on May 4 to help beautify our parks for summer use. It’s also a great opportunity to meet neighbors and socialize.

Work begins at your favorite park around 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m. with a free lunch provided by local businesses at Irwin Park. All volunteers will also receive a free t-shirt as a thank-you.

And for those who really want to step up to the plate, the H-F Park District is looking for park captains to help organize efforts. If you’re up to the challenge, call the park district at 708-957-0300.
