Update (FOUND) Help! Have You Seen This Lost Cat?

A Homewood family could use your help in locating their lost cat, Buddy.

Update: June 19 at 6:45 a.m.

We're happy to announce this cat was found. Thanks!

Have you seen this cat?

One family, and one little girl, in particular, would really appreciate it if you kept your eye out for their orange pet cat, Buddy.

Buddy escaped out an open window last Friday while workers were installing dry wall in the family's home. His last known location was near the 18000 block of Morris Ave. The cat is said to respond to his name, "Buddy."

If you think you might have seen Buddy, please don't hesitate to call your local Patch Editor Ryan Fitzpatrick (me) at 708.657.7048 or email ryan.fitzpatrick@patch.com.

You can also post information on Homewood-Flossmoor Patch's Facebook page.

So glad he was found! I may have seen him last weekend around my house. There was an orange tiger striped kitty I haven't seen before hanging around here for a few hours. He seemed kind of disoriented and was pretty skittish when I tried to get near him to look for a collar or tag. Good to know he was reunited with his family!
