Help Suzie's Hallmark Send Cards to Our Troops

All are welcome to stop by and send a message of support to our troops overseas.

For the second year in a row, Suzie’s Hallmark Shop in Homewood is taking action to brighten the holidays for members of our armed forces.

This Friday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., all are welcome to stop by the 18065 Harwood Ave. location to sign a card for the troops overseas. It’s completely free and the cards “provide a welcoming touch of home for our troops during the holiday season,” according to the Facebook event listing. Look for the big Humvee parked outside.

In addition to the card signing, Suzie’s Hallmark will be collecting donated items to send over in care packages. Non-perishable food items, toiletries and entertainment would all be appropriate donations.
