Last Chance for Blood Drive
Homewood's big community blood drive is this Saturday. Appointments are welcome.
Yeah, we all know giving blood is creepy.
However, for the small price of momentary uncomfortablility, you can literally save lives by taking the time to donate blood.
(And you can pretend you're totally hip and part of that whole trendy Twilight vampire thing.)

Homewood's community-wide blood drive will be held at the this Saturday, April 7 beginning from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Organizers are asking that donors register ahead of time on the Heartland Blood Center's website.
If you decide to donate at the last minute, that's OK too. Walk-ins are welcome so long as they're accompanied by photo identification.
