Western Avenue Student of the Month for November - Beckett Clasen

Beckett Clasen has been playing on the Homewood-Flossmoor Junior Vikings football team since he was in first grade.  Football has taught Beckett many life skills such as teamwork, persistence, perseverance, and discipline.  Last year, Beckett’s team earned a chance to compete in the nationals, which was held in Florida.  The team actually won all of their games and earned a spot in the championship game.  The championship game was exciting and the team played great!  They actually did not let the other team score at all!  This was the first time in Homewood-Flossmoor Junior Vikings history that this team had earned the national championship title.  There was a nice ceremony and a huge party that followed the winning game.  This year, the Homewood-Flossmoor Junior Vikings are on the journey to Florida again.  They are currently 8-0 with one regular season game to go.  The team is strong and united.  Wish Us Luck!!
