First, the Falcons have been invited back to the Rantoul Invitational Track Meet April 27th.   The Invite draws the best junior high teams in the state, including most of the state trophy winners (which Parker joined the ranks of with a 4th place finish last year).   Coming just two weeks before the sectional meet, Parker has the chance to match themselves against the same teams they will face at the state meet.  The competition is fierce and the team needs to be at the top of their game.

Also this year, Parker was assigned as a host school for the sectional track meet May 11th.  The meet will be held at HF High School and will allow us to showcase our athletic talent for the local community. Last year, the Parker boys won their sectional, and the team combined produced 11 state medalists.   Hannah Cohn placed second in the 100 and 200, Knicholas Dean placed 3rd in the 200 and 400, and 7th in the long jump, Rodney Anderson placed 4th in the 110 hurdles, Amari Windom placed 4th in the 200 and 6th in the 100; and the 4x100 relay of Hannah Cohn, Jasmine Greenlee, Sophia Osabuohien, and Amari Windom placed 4th.
