DO YOU KNOW HOW OLD THE FOOD IN CABINETS AND PANTRY IS?

Do you know what is in your kitchen cabinets, pantry or refrigerator?  Even clean and organized kitchens may contain expired food.  Depending on how far past code the food is, you can expect decreases in taste, quality and effectiveness, or even the potential for food poisoning.

In addition to the health risks, expired food in your kitchen is clutter that increases your risk of household pests and exploding cans.  There could be lots of old or unused food covering up the food that you bought just last week or keeping you from getting a clear idea of what to have for lunch or dinner today.

Clearing your kitchen of expired food saves you time in food preparation, saves you money by helping you use what you have more effectively, and helps you avoid the negative effects of eating food that has gone past code.
