The Governor came to attend an induction ceremony for the Top Teens of America.

Governor Pat Quinn made a trip to last Sunday to speak at an induction ceremony for the Chicago chapter of the Top Teens of America (TTA), an organization that recognizes kids who show commitment to both school and community.

“I see each and every one of you young men and women as excellent, and you’re going to be showing us the way,” Quinn said in an article posted by the Southtown Star.

Eleven new members were sworn in and will now participate alongside the TTA's support organization, Top Ladies of Distinction, to work on projects aimed at improving society, according to the article.
