Hello to all the Choral Singers out there in Patch-Land!

Fall is quickly coming and that means auditions for the Midwest Motet Society’s Fall concert cycle.  Our auditions have started and we are auditioning all voice types.  Auditions continue until our first rehearsal, Tuesday, August 26.  Even if you, yourself, are not able to sing with us this time, please pass this information on to those whom you think would like to sing with us.

In addition to our usual concert, we will participate in a very special event on Friday, September 12—the *Star Spangled Day of Singing*--commemorating the 200th anniversary of the writing of the Star Spangled Banner. We would love to have you participate with us.  Please contact us or follow us on Twitter or Facebook to find out the times and places we will be singing.  Things should be finalized toward the end of summer.

You may sing or perform with other south suburban arts organizations and we want you know we WELCOME and encourage you to audition since we have had members of the South Suburban Chorale, Grande Prairie Singers, the Drama Group, the Beverly Theater Group and the Oak Lawn Park District Theater Group sing with us in the past, sometimes even while singing/performing with those organizations.  We are willing to work around other’s rehearsals if you want to sing with us!
