Holocaust Survivor and Homewood Resident Ruth Kluger Dies at 93

Kluger died April 18. She was the founder of Kluger Furs and resided in Homewood.

Ruth Kluger, age 93, Holocaust Survivor, founder of Kluger Furs. Beloved wife of the late Rudi Kluger and the late Joseph Crane. Loving mother of Jane (Jack) Carroo and Larry (Susan) Kluger. Proud grandmother of Aaron Presco, Rachel (Matthew) Milner, Beth (Patrick) Russell and Jordan Kluger. Adored great-grandmother of Aubrey Milner and Molly Russell. Fond stepmother of Janis (Ralph) Katz. Cherished step grandmother of Melissa (Howard) Dakoff and Steven Katz. Dear sister of the late Max (Virginia) Collin. Adored aunt, and cherished friend of many. Funeral Tuesday 10:30 AM, at Temple Anshe Sholom, 20820 S. Western Avenue, Olympia Fields, Il. 60461. Interment Shalom.
