Patch editors spend quite a bit of time at neighborhood coffee shops, filling our online sausage casing with juicy morsels of news and information.
It seems only appropriate to do the same today, the one-year anniversary of launching Orland Park Patch.com into cyberspace.
One of my frequent haunts is the Starbucks at 15833 S. La Grange Road, between Five Guys and Potbelly's, next to Target. I’ll be there from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. this evening holding “office hours.”
Feel free to join me and talk about the site, the town, anything at all. We can even make Bears predictions. (I’m thinking we’ll see at least 10 wins if Cutler can keep it together. Maybe more if he really keeps his head on straight.)
The first seven people to show will get a cup of coffee on me, and some lovely Patch swag.
Following Starbucks, I’ll be heading to to try to have a beverage outside before the temperature drops any more.
