102-Year-Old Flossmoor Woman Dies In Homewood Crash

The great, great, grandmother was a longtime community volunteer.

Margaret Clark, 102, of Flossmoor died Saturday night following a car crash earlier last week, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Clark, of the 2000 block of Hagen Lane, was riding with her daughter in the passenger seat of her car around noon on Oct. 30 when another vehicle struck them at the intersection of 175th Street and Dixie. She was on her way to a dental appointment.

Clark moved to her Flossmoor home in 1959, when she remarried after the death of her first husband. The great, great, grandmother was a longtime volunteer—having spent many years teaching swimming to disabled children and reading to the blind.
