Car Crashes Into Homewood Storefront
The driver is undergoing evaluation, according to firefighters.
A car crashed into a storefront in the 18700 block of Dixie Highway shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday night.
Homewood firefighters say the driver suffers from a medical condition which made her hit inadvertently hit the gas. The car smashed through the front of what used to be Curves Gym.
The driver was hospitalized for evaluation following the accident, according to firefighters.
