TUESDAY, FEB. 21
Retail Theft
Brandon Kellum, 27, of the 2900 block of Dearborn Avenue in Chicago was charged with retail theft. Security at a store in the 17500 block of Halsted Street told police Kellum hid a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka in his pants and left the store around 4:30 p.m. He was stopped in the parking lot by police after fleeing from a security agent, according to the report.

Dixie DUI
Dorothea Willingham, 32, of the 2500 block of 14th Avenue in Broadview was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance and speeding. Police said they smelled alcohol on Willingham’s breath after stopping her car in the 18100 block of Dixie Highway around 2:30 a.m. for speeding and driving on a flat tire. She was arrested after failing field sobriety tests and refusing to take a breath test, according to the report.
Theft, Obstructing
Stephanie Venoy, 25, of the 700 block of Commerce Street in Lewisburg, TN, was charged with retail theft and obstructing justice. Security at a store in the 17500 block of Halsted Street told police Venoy hid several items in her jacket and left the store around 1 p.m. Venoy’s real name had to be identified at the station through fingerprints, according to the report.

SATURDAY, FEB. 18
Criminal Trespass
Eric Simmons, 28, of the 17800 block of old Trail Road in Hazel Crest was charged with criminal trespass to property. Police said they told Simmons three times to stay out of Brunswick Zone, following an argument, but instead he tried pushing past security guards to get back inside. He was arrested shortly after midnight.
