[UPDATE] Fire Reported on Argyle Avenue

Lt. Bill Wright said a roofer might be responseible for a fire that occurred around 5 p.m. on the 18400 block of Argyle Avenue last Saturday.

Wright said a substantial amount of flames were spewing from the north side of the house when he first arrived. Swift action from firefighters, however, helped keep the situation under control, according to Wright.

"My outstanding crew arrived quickly and extinguished the flames with mimimal damage to the structure," Wright said. "Since the majority of water was sprayed from the inside, out, there is also very little water damage."
