Flossmoor Home Burglarized at Night

A Flossmoor E-cop notification was just issued to notify residents of a nighttime residential burglary.

Flossmoor Police have issued a notification of a burglary that occurred on June 22 between 1:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m on the 2900 block of Kathleen Lane.

According to the notification, the burglary occurred while residents were asleep. Laptop computers and a video game system were stolen and a small cut was made in the back screen door, according to the report. There was no sign of forced entry and nobody was injured.

A reminder in the notification informs residents that well-secured doors and outdoor lighting work well to deter criminals during the night.
