Woman Reports Identity Theft

A Flossmoor woman told she was informed by an employee of a bank that charges totaling $280 were charged on her account.

Reports of Theft from a Vehicle in Metra Lot

Two Homewood residents reported catalytic converters recently stolen from vehicles parked in Metra's parking lot.

The man told police the part was taken from his vehicle some time between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25 from the parking lot at 1200 Sterling Avenue and estimated the part of the catalytic converter at $750.

The couple said their car was parked at 1100 Sterling Avenue and the converter was stolen between 11 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Aug. 25. The wife said the car was fine when they left it, but "sounded like it was going to blow up" when it was driven away.

Man Sees Several Unauthorized Charges on Account

A Flossmoor man told police he saw several unauthorized transactions on his Netspend card from Aug. 19 through Aug. 22.
