Hammer Threat at Brunswick Zone
A Chicago woman was arrested outside the Brunswick Zone in Homewood after someone reported to police that she was waving a hammer and chasing people.
Police say a fight broke out in the parking lot just before midnight on Nov. 5, during which 25-year-old Kenya Ringer, of the 7000 block of S. Parnell in Chicago, retrieved a claw hammer from her vehicle in attempt to use it as a weapon. Ringer was detained by Brunswick Zone security, according to the report, before being turned over to police.
The security guard said a disorderly conduct complaint would be signed against Ringer. Ringer was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and released on bond. Ringer was also given a “no trespass notice” for the bowling alley.
