Homewood Man Allegedly Beaten at Serena Hills School

Police say at least one of the attackers is from Chicago Heights.

A 19-year-old man told police he was at Serena Hills School on Saturday, June 9 when he was "jumped" by 12 people, at least one of which was from Chicago Heights.

Police saw several injuries on the man, including "swollen eyes, crooked nose, redness of the face and small cuts on his face," according to the report. The man told police he was struck several times in the face with closed fists, but he refused medical attention.

Police were unable to locate the offenders, according to the report.
