Thursday, March 31

Possession of Marijuana

Two juveniles were issued citations after police caught them out after curfew at the intersection of 183rd Street and Morris Avenue at 1:30 a.m., according to police. Police said the two juveniles initially tried to evade police but were apprehended. Police said they observed one of the juveniles drop a small bag filled with marijuana during the chase. During the pat-down, police discovered another small bag of marijuana at the feet of the other juvenile, according to the report.

Lost Money, Cards

A Homewood woman lost her wallet containing identification, banking cards and $170 near the 3100 block of 183rd Street at 1:30 p.m., according to police.

Lost Cards, Money and Key

A Homewood man lost his wallet containing several identification cards as well as a spare vehicle key and a $20 bill on the 18400 block of Palmer Avenue sometime between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., according to police.

Football Gear Stolen from Vehicle

Someone stole $920 worth of football gear from a Homewood man’s unlocked vehicle on the 2800 block of Willow Road sometime between 2 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on March 29, according to police.

Tuesday, March 29

Stolen Purse

Someone stole a Chicago Heights woman’s purse at Kmart sometime between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on March 8, according to police. The report was filed on March 29.

Credit Card Fraud

Someone used a Harvey woman’s stolen banking card to spend $54.88 at Speedway Gas Station, 18002 Halsted, at 10:30 p.m. on March 7, according to police. The report was filed on March 29.

Monday, March 28

Stolen Shirts

Kyron E. Washington, 19, of the 14400 block of Wallace in Riverdale, was charged with retail theft for stealing two shirts from Kohls, 17620 S. Halsted, at 5:30 p.m., according to police.

Stolen Wallet

A South Holland man’s wallet was stolen from his book bag at Brunswick Zone, 3043 W. 183rd St., sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 26, according to police. Police said the man gave his book bag to a clerk at Brunswick Zone while he played a game of laser tag. The man noticed his wallet missing from his book bag the next day, according to police. Police said the total loss was $60.
