Man Charged with DUI Says 'Just Take Me to Jail': Blotter

"I Ain't Doing None Of That, Bro"

Raymond Lipscomb, 31 of the 21700 block of Clyde in Sauk Village, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to a report. He also was wanted on a Burnham warrant for aggravated driving with a revoked license. Lipscomb was stopped at about 1:34 a.m. near 18700 Dixie Hwy., after police saw him weave across the road lines. He reportedly had slurred speech and a smell of alcohol on his breath. After Lipscomb was asked to follow a pen with his eyes, he responded with "I aint got time for that. Just take me to jail, man," and "I aint doing none of that, bro."

Fight At A Bowling Alley

Michael Williams, 45, of the 21400 block of Peterson in Sauk Village, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a report. He is accused of punching another man at about 12:17 a.m. in Brunswick Zone, 3043 183rd St. after an argument became physical.

Power Tools Stolen

Duane Williams, 44, of the 15600 block of Center in Harvey, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. He is accused of taking a Masterforce 12 Volt Cordless Drill, valued at $89.97, and a Honeywell Thermostat, valued at $69.98, at about 5:45 p.m. from Menard's, 17545 Halsted St.

DUI Charge for Chicago Driver

Emanual Holliday, 29, of the 1900 block of Beacon Boulevard in Chicago Heights, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding, according to a report. He was stopped at about 4:11 a.m. near Halsted Street and Holbrook Road for speeding. An officer conducted field sobriety tests, which he failed. While in custody, Holliday refused to take a breath test. He is due in a Markham courtroom on April 12.
