No Tires On New Year’s Eve: Blotter

The car was left sitting on cinder blocks, according to reports.

A Homewood man awoke on New Year's Eve to find his car without tires and resting on cinder blocks, according to reports.

Police say his tires were stolen sometime between 3 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 7:40 a.m., Dec. 31, while the car was parked in the 800 block of Elder Road. In addition to the stolen wheels, all four lug stems were broken off.

Cops estimate the total damage to be valued at $2,500.
