Three people, one a young child, were injured in a three-vehicle crash near 178th and Halsted Saturday afternoon.

It appears that one car pulled in front of another, causing a pile-up that resulted in a Ford Explorer overturning on two other cars, said Homewood Fire Lieutenant Bill Wright. Of the 10 passengers in the cars, three were transported to area hospitals.
