'Porn Truck' Driver Showing Progress
Steven D. Dutton, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for trying to lure a teenage girl into porn-laden truck last year, is almost done completing his one year of court supervision.
It appears Steven D. Dutton, the man who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for last year, is showing progress, according to a Cook County judge.
Judge Thomas J. O'Hara has been overseeing Dutton's one year of court supervision, which will be concluded in November if all continues to go well.
At a hearing Wednesday, Aug. 14 in Markham, Dutton appeared in a charcoal gray suit and wearing glasses with a blue tint. He handed O'Hara a document which presumably contained records from Sertoma Centre, a physical and mental health facility where Dutton has been living and undergoing therapy.

Last June, near Riegal Oak Lane and 186th Place and began asking questions about whether she had a boyfriend and whether she needed a ride. He drove away after the girl told him she lived close by, but then circled back, causing her to fear for her safety and dial 911.
In his pickup truck, found—among other things—pornography, rope, whips, dildos, women's underwear and a dashboard modified to include handcuffs. Authorities say he told officers that his intentions had been innocent.

Dutton's last hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 14.
"If everything is satisfactory, I will complete [the supervision] as satisfactory," O'Hara told Dutton.
