Woman Charged With Battery After Punching Man

Sandro Espinoza's temper got her in trouble with the law over the past weekend.

Sandro Espinoza, 4341 Andover Drive, Richton Park, was charged with battery at 2:09 p.m. on July 21.

Police said an argument turned physical and Espinoza punched a man at a business in the 17400 block of Halsted Street. She then fled the scene, but police later located her at a motel in East Hazel Crest.

Both Espinoza and the victim were taken to South Suburban Hospital and released after being treated for cuts to their heads. She has a court date of Aug. 8 at the 6th District Municipal Courthouse in Markham.
