Home Burglarized
Someone broke into a Homewood woman’s home between 9:20 p.m. March 6 and 7:25 a.m. March 7, according to police. Police said the burglar stole a wallet from the kitchen countertop containing various banking and identification cards.
Saturday, March 5Stolen Mail
Someone stole a Homewood man’s mail-order iPod Touch from his mailbox between 11:10 a.m. and 11:20 a.m., according to police. The stolen iPod is valued at $364.95, according to police.

Stolen Jacket
A Homewood woman’s jacket was stolen from Lassen’s Tap sometime between 9:30 a.m. on March 4 and 2 a.m. on March 5. The woman’s wallet, keys and leather gloves were inside of the jacket, and were also stolen, according to police.
Friday, March 4Stolen Money
Maisha Rowe, 22, of the 17800 block of Tipton was charged with theft after stealing $10 from a Homewood man just after 6 p.m. at 5th Quarter Bar & Grill, according to police. Police said the man left the money at the bar unattended when a witness noticed Rowe take the money and exit. The witness informed police of Rowe’s theft and her direction of travel, leading to an arrest, according to the report. Rowe was issued a “no trespass” order for the bar.

Damaged Clothing
A Homewood juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property after destroying two pieces of clothing belonging to her sister, according to police.
Wednesday, March 2Possession of Marijuana
Carlton D. Sole, 18 of the 1900 block of 186th Place was issued a municipal offense violation for possession of marijuana after police discovered two marijuana cigarettes on the floor of his car at 4:45 p.m. at Apollo Park, according to police. Police said they investigated Sole’s vehicle after receiving a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Three other individuals were in the car with Sole, but were not charged, according to the report.
Stolen Hubcaps
Someone stole four plastic hubcaps from a South Holland woman’s vehicle in the Best Buy parking lot just after 4:20 p.m., according to police.
Broken Window
Someone broke a Homewood woman’s bedroom window with an unknown object sometime between 3 a.m. on Feb. 26 and midnight on March 1, according to police.
Traffic Stop
A Homewood juvenile was issued a municipal ordinance violation for possession of marijuana, as well as a traffic citation for failing to signal during a turn on the 18300 block of Ashland Ave at 6:45 a.m., according to police. Police said they also recovered a bag with one gram of marijuana from the juvenile’s vehicle.
