String of Residential Burglaries Continues in Flossmoor

Flossmoor police are notifying residents about two early morning residential burglaries.

The issued an online notification about two recent residential burglaries. 

Police said the first burglary happened Sunday in the 1700 block of Heather Hill, while a second home was burglarized Monday in the 2900 block of MacHeath Crescent.

Both homes were broken into between 1:30 and 9:30 a.m., according to the report.

Police said residents in both homes awoke to find they were missing laptop computers and wallets. According to the report, the burglars removed property near the point of entry.

Flossmoor police are asking residents to use outdoor lighting and secure first-floor doors and windows to deter any criminal activity.
