Suspicious Man Follows Flossmoor Student

The police department has issued an electronic notification warning residents of a man in a white minivan who may have been following a student yesterday morning.

Flossmoor police are warning residents of a middle-aged man in a white minivan who reportedly followed a student walking to school from the 1200 block of Braeburn Ave to Flossmoor Road sometime between 8:25 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.

Additionally, the student reported seeing the man's van on Sterling Avenue and Park Drive before safely making it to school.

Police said the man is caucasian, in his 40s and has short hair. He was seen wearing sunglasses and his minivan has tinted windows. The license plate may start with the letter "K," and the vehicle was reported to have a "Coexist" bumper sticker on the back similar to the one posted in the photo section.
