Wheels Stripped Off Cars Near Homewood Shores Condos

The cars were left standing on cinder blocks.

Two cars had all four wheels stolen from them within a couple days of each other near Homewood Shores Condos, according to police reports.

The first theft happened sometime between 4 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 7:30 a.m. the next day. The second occurred a couple days later, between 9 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 28. Both happened in the parking lot of Homewood Shores condominiums, on the 800 block of Elder Road.

In both situations, all four tires and rims were stolen from the vehicles. Both were left suspended on two cinderblocks for their owners to find in the morning. The estimated loss for each car is $1,000.
