Grape & Grain Co. Seeks to Nix Two-Drink Limit: On the Agenda

Homewood Village President Richard Hofeld and the village trustees will meet at Homewood Village Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

New Part-time Firefighter

New part-time firefighter and paramedic, Sean Glowa, will be sworn in during the Nov. 27 meeting.

Winter Tree Trimming

Trustees will vote to give no more than $50,000, or $44.73 per tree to Winkler’s Tree & Landscaping for winter tree trimming.

Grape & Grain Co. Requests Drink Limit Amendment

Grape & Grain Co. owner Ron Khalaf is requesting amendment to his current Class 14 liquor license. Now, his business can only serve two drinks per person per visit. The passage of this amendment would remove the two-drink maximum restriction. 

Homewood Police Request Emergency Electrical Work

Homewood trustees will vote to avoid competitive bidding to give just over $15,000 to EXTRA Electric LLC for emergency electrical for the Homewood Police Department. According to the agenda, the repair request comes in response to a recent fire in the 911 room of the Homewood Police Station.
