Homewood Days Revised; Property Development: On the Agenda
The Chamber of Commerce will be returning to Homewood Village Hall tonight in hopes to sell the board on a revised plan for Homewood Days 2012.
Village President Richard Hofeld and the will meet tonight, Tuesday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. There will be time allotted for public participation and comments.

Homewood Days 2012
The along with Joey Rega Tours and Events will return tonight in hopes of swaying the boards interest in Homewood Days 2012. This comes two weeks after the last Homewood board meeting, where the majority of trustees expressed their disapproval of Homewood Days 2012 in its current form.

Despite poor responses last time, the chamber said they still intend to pursue hosting the event.

Façade and Property Improvements
The board will be considering the approval of two separate façade and property improvement program requests.
The first request comes from Tim Brady of Brady Enterprises, Inc. for the property at 1914-1918 Ridge Road. He wants $515.00 to reface several signs on the building.
The second request comes from Daryl Lights of In the Cut Barbering, Inc. for $2,885 to renovate his unit at 2025 Ridge Road.
2012-2013 Fiscal Year Budget Presentation
Financial Director Dennis Bubenik will present the draft of the 2012-2013 fiscal year budget. The board will be open for discussion following Bubenik's presentation.
New Day Care Center
Michael and Octavia Burnett are requesting a special use permit from the board to allow them to open up a child day care center at 3325 183rd St.
Goodbye Hotel/Motel Liquor License, Hello New Liquor License
If approved, an item on the omnibus vote will reduce the permitted Class 8 liquor licenses for Homewood hotels and motels from one to zero. A following item will increase the number of permitted Class 7 (Beer and Wine) liquor licenses from two to three.
