Liquor License Discussion for Potential Homewood Business: On the Agenda

A preview of what's on the agenda for the village of Homewood's Tuesday night's board meeting. Flossmoor's board meeting this week has been cancelled.

Homewood Village President Richard Hofeld and the village trustees will meet at on Tuesday, May 22 at 7:30 a.m.

Among the agenda items is a discussion on the request for a Class 14 liquor license for Grapes & Grain Co., a potential new "craft beer and boutique wine establishment" to be located at 18031 Dixie Highway .

Also on the agenda is the announcement of the retirement of Homewood Police Officers Dale Gustafson and Paul Poinski. Officer William Rolle will be commended for doing exceptional work—notably leading to seven recent felony charges of residentail burglary.
