President Preckwinkle to Lead Economic Development Meeting in Flossmoor

Flossmoor's upcoming Meijer Store and other economic development projects are on the agenda for Friday's 9 a.m. meeting at Flossmoor Village Hall.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will visit Flossmoor Village Hall today at 9 a.m. to guest speak for a special quarterly event hosted by the Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation (CSEDC).

Flossmoor’s new Meijer store, the Cook County tax rollback and increased transportation efforts—such as the widening of Center Ave near CN headquarters—will be discussed according to a release from CSEDC.

Mayor Paul Braun will be joining Preckwinkle to talk about the village’s Meijer plans. Green infrastructure and robotics are also on the agenda.
