Flossmoor Village Meeting

Employee health insurance renewal, sidewalk replacement and street resurfacing are all items on the agenda for Flossmoor Mayor Paul Braun and the village trustees to vote on during Monday night’s meeting.

When/where? All day at 367 Artists Walk, Park Forest

Tall Grass Arts Association is now accepting applications to become a juried artist. Juried artists are invited to participate in the annual art fair held in September in Downtown Park Forest.  They have the opportunity to display in the gallery at least once a year and to include their work in the Tall Grass Gift Shop.

Registration for Flossmoor Library's Summer Reading Program, "Dream Big, Read!" begins at the library on June 4. We have programs for children, teens and adults, and we'll have events and prizes all summer long!

The Chicago Computer Society South Suburban Computer Club Meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 7:00 PM at Prairie State Community College, Room 1320, 202 South Halsted Street, Chicago Heights, Illinois, will feature a presentation by Gene Barlow on how to Organize, Protect and Share your Hard Drive. This will be a presentation that you will not want to miss.

Join the H-F Sports Enthusiasts to celebrate National Running Day with a 3 mile fun run/walk on Wednesday, June 6th. We'll meet at the Brewery steps at 6:30 PM.  Bring a friend, neighbor or both.  Everyone is welcome!

Jason's rollicking Rock'n'Roll Juggling Show features comedy, audience participation, and huge juggling stunts. Then the fun continues with a hands-on skills workshop where everyone becomes a juggler!

Stroll through any of Bensidoun’s French Markets, and you’re guaranteed to experience the finest in local produce, delicacies from well-known area restaurants, freshly baked breads and pastries from artisan bakeries, and seasonal spreads from Chicagoland orchards.

We’re opening up the chute for on-leash dogs to join their humans at this ½ mile event to benefit Rover’s Run Dog Park. Whether you (or your dog) prefer trotting, jogging, or walking and socializing, this event is for you and your friendly hound. Don’t have a dog? Don’t jog? No problem—you’re welcome to join us! T-shirts are provided for the first 50 participants.

Interested in creating your own personalized cards? Sign up for our card-making class! Each participant will make three cards. Participants will be able to choose their own sentiment for the cards and personalize the cards as they like.
