Which Chicago Employers Provide the Most Jobs? Plus, Helpful Apps for Illinoisans

We've got the top 25 employers in Chicago in terms of jobs provided.

Chicago is far from being “a city upon a hill” in a state hard hit by unemployment. A recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation report was sharply critical of Chicago’s business climate. However, the Chicago-Joliet-Naperville metro division is still host to the most jobs in Illinois — 3,764,200 in April, according to preliminary data from the Illinois Department of Economic Security.
