H-F Free Parenting Workshop: Psychiatric Issues in Adolescents

H-F's Special Education Department invites all parents to a free parenting workshop immediately following the HFPA monthly meeting this Wednesday. At 7:15 p.m. in E1, Dr. Louis Kraus will speak on psychiatric issues in adolescents, focusing on Bipolar Disorder and Asperger's Syndrome. Dr. Kraus is board certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. He is the medical director for the Easter Seals Therapeutic Schools and in charge of the psychiatric services through Rush Medical Center at the Orthogenic School in Hyde Park. He also consults regularly with approximately 15 school districts in Chicago and the North Suburbs.
