Follow Homewood-Flossmoor Band Members' Blog on Trip to China
You can get a glimpse inside the high schoolers' big trip.
The H-F Symphonic Band and Jazz Band are on the trip of a lifetime, to China.
About 50 students—sophomores, juniors and seniors—are traveling throughout to Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai, visiting historic sites and experiencing Chinese culture. They will be performing throughout the tour, sharing their American music with hundreds, or even thousands, of people.
The group raised an estimated $50,000 to make the trip happen, now follow their journey through the group's blog, updated as often as the students can find the time.
