H-F Actor Finalist in Illinois High School Musical Awards

The Flossmoor native is one of 24 state finalists who competed for a chance to go to New York for the National High School Musical Theater Awards.

Christopher Kelley of H-F High School was one of 24 finalists competing Monday  for a chance to represent the state in the National High School Musical Theater Awards.

Top Chicago theater professionals judged Kelley’s performance along with those of 11 other male actors and 12 female actors during the Second Annual Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago. One male and one female actor were chosen from the group to win an all-expenses paid trip to New York where they will represent Illinois in the national competition.
